I couldn't hear any of those higher frequencies at the time. To truly simulate the plane experience, yeah one would want to roll off those highs pretty sharply. The whoosh of the air vents dominate, but the chimes and light conversation come through slightly in the background. Kept low, it would be a great ambient track. I'd lose some of the higher end frequencies to make it less "strident" though. Interesting recording.
