overcast #049
Phil and Ricky decide to see who they can connect with on Skype and pull into the show on the spot. Damien Valentine joins the fray early, and the three discuss everything from the softporn-ish ending of Alien (1979) to the hardporn film inspired by a popular video game. Oh, and they manage to talk about machinima a bit too, but this episode was mostly about unadulterated fun.
Finding a fourth show participant proved a bit more challenging…
Thank you for listening! How much do we love your comments? We put them on our spoken word albums and then send you the royalties. So bring ‘em on!

Dudes – you’re too funny. You saved my day! My DirectTV DVR fried – so no TV and I had a crappy day at work. I badly needed distraction. I came home and listened to your podacst and now I feel like a new woman! ( Well the beer and the Vicodin helped too.) Love you, love the show – write when you get work! – Cathy

It’s shows like this, that drive my passion to the community thru the roof and even into deep space!
Yay!

I don’t want to sound rude, but why does it sound like there’s a clicking sound on one of your mics?
It sounds like the mic is hitting something when you move around. It gets really distracting–especially coming from audio experts such as yourselves–enough to make me stop listening. Please fix that because I really like your show.

@machinafoofoo – Yeah, my headset has a flawed design (or my head does), I’ve tried everything I can think of short of replacing it. It bothers me too, sorry it’s disrupting your enjoyment of the show. It didn’t used to be an issue when we used external microphones, but a short while back we switched to just using the Skype recording to save some workload on the mixing side, and unfortunately that stubborn artifact is part of the cost of that switch. If we ever return to the airwaves, I think we’ll go back to the high quality mics.
