Good one, Phil. The switch to just recording with headsets works just fine. And it’s much easier. This show had a lot of energy and fun. Like very much the focus on practical issues
for machinima creators. PS the Image Metrics site is wonderful. 3D World recently did a superb article on facial animation and mentions IM extensively.
PPSS the Purchase Brothers are getting hammered with interest since their film has gone viral. I hope they can work out a RvB type deal with Valve. Good for everyone.

Great show – especially loved hearing Ricky’s thoughts on voiceacting – and thanks to him, I now have a new item on my “want to have that badly” list – the M Audio Mikro II Portable! *sigh*
Oh, and you guys made me blush – thanks for the kind words!

Great show – lots of practical comments. The info on microphones and sound recording was nice.
On the topic of video converters, I was looking everywhere for a free converter to move my video in mp4 format for toting around on my Iphone. I ran across a FreeWare product called Super from a group called eRightSoft that handles an amazing number of formats including mp4 output. And it includes a batch mode format which is great when converting a number of fraps captures from a Second Life event. The user interface is a bit awkward but manageable.
Not sure how it compares with all the tools you mentioned on the show.
Take Care
