What sort of occasion would have Ricky and Phil both sharing musical numbers?
One weekend in New York, the next in Montreal… that was the plan. First weekend of November, the Machinima Film Festival. The second weekend, the International Machinima Expo at Festival Arcadia in Quebec. We even booked Amtrak tickets between cities and were starting to talk up the “Machinitrain” in certain quarters. And all of a sudden… BOOM!
CANCELLED. What the heck really happened with the would be Montreal Expo that has now been moved to Second Life? Ricky and Phil tell all.
Thank you for listening! How much do we value your feedback? We write your comments on index cards and hand them out at the airport with flowers. Keep ‘em coming!

Excellent show, thanks!
That’s quite a tale about the Expo, and a very considered and reasonable response at the end

Writing these notes as I go (since I’m on the road and listening to it
But two things stick out so far
#1 - RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) & Motion Picture Association of America
#2 - The Pro-ip Law was actually passed and signed by the president on Monday (the 13th how Ironic
) - http://www.eff.org/press/mentions/2008/10/13

Hey, thanks, guys! Brain dead on RIAA and MPAA, sorry about that. Very sad to hear the Pro-ip thing was made into a law. Of course, it’s Bush. I wonder if he’ll put cherry bombs in the toilets before he leaves?
We enjoyed doing the show and worked hard to be fair (where we could). I just love Phil’s song. Still singing it….
