This special edition of the show features a live interview conducted by Hugh Hancock and Johnnie Ingram at the Machinima Festival Europe 2007, held last month in Leicester, UK at the De Montfort University Campus Centre. Hugh and Johnnie speak with Ross Bambrey and Steve Wallace, fellow members of Strange Company and collaborators on their feature film, BloodSpell.

Ross and Steve are asked to describe their “Top 3 Machinima Moments.” The high spirited discussion touches on several of their favorite machinima films as well as what making machinima sometimes has in common with driving under the influence. “Don’t drink and film…”

After much deliberation, we’ve decided to release this interview largely uncensored. BAC levels are running high, and there is more than a little bit of adult language here, so please be advised. I think I’ll restate that in bold.

ATTENTION: This podcast contains adult language. Listener discretion is strongly advised.

Thank you for listening! As always, your feedback is welcome and appreciated.

I thought that the DMU Machinima Europe event was wonderful, and it is clear that Hugh and the team had a wonderful time. What is really incredible is that they could remember any machinima movies at all, given the fun they clearly had!

Delightful! I agree with Moo: it’s too short. Reminds me of a Scottish version of
a Bukowski novel. Man, what fun you guys must have had. Wish i could have been there.

    So who was next door……..?

  6. Comment by Steve Wallace — November 21, 2007 at 1:20 pm

We have no idea, but there was a guy making grunting, bellowing noises that you could hear from the hall and room next door. Meanwhile, across the hall from Grunty McGroan was his female equivalent.

Waiting to meet up for breakfast in the morning was… interesting. We really should have clapped after some of the more enthusiastic noises.
