overcast #040
SIGGRAPH 2008 gave Ricky an opportunity to sit down for a chat with our friend John Martin from Reallusion. They talked about - you guessed it - iClone version 3, a major leap forward for what was already a formidable independent machinima platform.
Ricky and Phil, along with Nathan Moller and Todd Stallkamp, had the opportunity to eat dinner with John and his brother James at the 2006 Machinima Film Festival. The discussion before, during, and after that meal about trends in animation, finding an audience, iClone and everything else, lit a fire of inspiration in me that still drives me to this day. It’s a pleasure for us to be able to feature this talk with John on the show.
Thank you for listening! We love reading your comments, please do let us know what you think!
