overcast #017
Peter Rasmussen takes time out to discuss his filmmaking career, his influences, what attracts him to machinima, and of course the films themselves. On the verge of his second machinima feature film release, Rasmussen is one of the genre’s most respected and prolific directors and advocates. He is proof positive that one can make machinima, be taken seriously while doing so, and end up owning what he creates. His story in this field is a personal inspiration to me, as I hope it will be to you too.
This episode features music from Philip Johnston, composer of the soundtrack to “Stolen Life,” and winner of the 2006 Machinima Film Festival award for Best Original Music. Philip was kind enough to grant me permission to use some of his music to complement this interview. If you like what you hear, please consider thanking Philip by purchasing one of his CDs.
Thanks for listening! Let me know what you think.
