overcast #016a
Part 1 of 2 of an extended conversation with Hugh Hancock and Johnnie Ingram. Oh man. We do not come out of that well, do we?
In our defense, we were very, very tired at the time, and also not entirely without the influence of alcohol.
I can’t believe there’s still the second half of this to come. I’ll be dreading it until its release. I just hope my poor mother never gets to hear this. She’ll be so ashamed.

ZOMG. Wow, I was slurring. A lot. Sorry to anyone who has a bit of a problem following, you know, my words.
Johnnie is very funny, though. And some of it was intentional.

After our argument in the middle of the podcast about the intricacies of grammar, it’s a little embarrassing that Hugh has just pointed out my incorrect use of an apostrophe in the phrase “dreading it until it’s release”. I hang my head in shame, and humbly request an edit function.

Aw, come on guys, I didn’t think it came off that badly. You were loose, but not out of your gourds. I thought it was a fun conversation that stayed remarkably on topic.
Apostrophe edit: done.

Don’t worry - I don’t think it was a disaster at all. I’m just slightly embarrassed that for the first ten minutes, I have a habit of speaking entire paragraphs as a single slur of syllables.
And Johnnie’s just being terribly British about the entire thing. It’s a national character trait - if you say anything nice about us, we have to spend the next twenty minutes apologising for all our mistakes.
Of course, any attempt at modesty is probably ruined by the fact it’s now obvious that the first thing we did today was spend an entire hour listening to ourselves talk…

… if you say anything nice about us, we have to spend the next twenty minutes apologising for all our mistakes.
Yeah, it’s true. Sorry about that.

LOL!

I honestly can’t tell you what I find more entertaining, the interview it’s self or all of this senselessly apologetic post-game banter.
Carry on!
^_^

I like both! Seriously, you guys are nuts, this was a very enjoyable and entertaining interview. Maybe a bit fast at times, but Johnnie and Hugh were happy and half drunk. I laughed all the way through it. The whole thing had such a great sense of fun. Esp. enjoyed the notion that writers of a book like “Machinima for Dummies” are students themselves. So true.
Great job guys! I’ll sure be buying the book. In the meantime, get Part 2 up soon!

Great to hear you guys talking together. Hugh and Johnnie’s enthusiasm is infectious. I look forward to the second part of this.

Very interesting and entertaining discussion. Educational too; I learned that I didn’t want to know what furries are, but I found out anyway.

Fleef - That’s funny - that’s almost exactly what we said. The “furries” part, that is, not the “very interesting and entertaining” part, although thank you for that!

You guys are charming and fun to listen to!
